Fishing Charter Details

Lucky Strike Fishing Charters offers full day, half day and night fishing trips.

Full Day Charters.
A full day charter offers the angler time to target more than one species of fish.  For Example, we might start the morning by targeting Rockfish or Stripers and when we have reached our limit, we would look for Bluefish, Flounder or whatever you may be interested in.  A full day charters allows time to run longer distances to get to better action or a better grade of fish. A typical full day starts with getting to the boat a little before 6:00 a.m., loading up the anglers, coolers and gear and pulling out of the slip at 6:00 a.m.  The boat returns to the dock around 2:00 p.m.  A full day would typically be about 8 + hours.   All you will need for your trip is proper clothing, sunscreen, cooler for you food and to pack of the fish that you caught.  We will take care of the tackle, licensing, most baits and ice for the day and your cooler.

Half Day Charters
The half day charter departs twice a day, once in the morning and the second at approximately 12:30-1:00 p.m.  A half day charter is just the right charter when the fish are close to the dock and the ride is short.  This is typically in the early spring through late summer.  If you want to get out on the water and you have younger anglers, a half day charter is just the right amount of time to keep their attention.  Imagine catching a 20-40lb Trophy Rockfish in the Spring on a Half  Day Charter, that's what you can expect with loads of fish 15-20 minutes from the dock, there is plenty of time for fishing. Bring your cooler, snacks, drinks, proper clothing & sunglasses and we will provide the rest.  We take care of the fishing gear, bait, tackle, ice and licensing.

Night Charters
Night Charters is one of my favorite times to fish.  Beginning in early June thru mid August, Lucky Strike Fishing Charters offers night charters.  We target Rockfish, Bluefish, Spot fish and Croakers.  Leave the dock around 4:00-4:30 p.m. and go chumming for Rock and Blues for 2-3 hours then settle up for Croakers.  Croakers, a member of the Drum family, pull hard, hard, hard!  It is not uncommon to catch 100-150 Croakers a night.  Pick the biggest or take your limit of 25 per person.  These fish are fun to catch and great to eat.  At night, these fish come to life…..big time.  You will catch and catch and catch.  You will return to the dock around 11:00-12:00 midnight.  We supply all bait, tackle, licensing and ice.
